It could be the best protein powder but unfortunately it contains sucralose
Honestly I should be giving it 1 star because it contains sucralose, it is however the best tasting most filing, smoothest protein powder I’ve ever tried. It really is a shame that companies that make supplements don’t seem to care about how dangerous artificial sweeteners are.

Good
Does not make me bloat only if I drink it too fast. I got diagnosed with UC and this is the only protein powder that does make me bloat so far. Very pleased!
Decent whey, but could be better
Likes: good macro profile, decent flavor, high isolate content, reasonable priceDislikes: poor mixing, 4lb size instead of 5lb, huge scoop required to get advertised protein loadBeen using 1 or 2 whey shakes a day for about 20 years, so I’ve tried my share of products. I chose this one due to the high isolate content, good macro profile, and positive flavor reviews. The price also initially seemed attractive, but I later learned it was only a 4lb tub, and it includes a massive scoop to get the full protein advertised. The size of that scoop along with poor mixing in lukewarm water is probably why I won’t buy it again. The flavor is fine, but I drink these in a few quick gulps, so I’m not too hung up on that aspect.Overall I’m reasonably satisfied, but again, I might go in a different direction for my next tub.

A Heavy-Hitter in the Protein Game — Animal Whey Delivers Big
If you’re looking for a protein powder that hits the sweet spot between flavor, performance, and digestion, Animal Whey Isolate in Frosted Cinnamon Bun is a total win. I’ve tried dozens of whey proteins, and this one easily stands out.First off, the taste is unreal. Frosted Cinnamon Bun sounds like it might be too sweet or artificial, but it’s perfectly balanced — dessert-level flavor without the guilt. It mixes smoothly in water or milk (no clumps, no chalkiness), and it’s not overly heavy, so it doesn’t leave you bloated or sluggish post-shake.Each scoop packs 25g of high-quality isolate protein, ideal for both pre- and post-workout. Whether I’m trying to fuel up or recover, I feel the difference in energy and muscle recovery. There’s also digestive enzymes included, which makes a bigger impact than you’d think — no gut bombs, no gassy aftermath, just clean absorption. What really seals the deal? Low sugar, no fillers, and a brand with serious credibility in the fitness world. I’ve used this after heavy lifts, HIIT, and even as a quick meal sub when I’m slammed with work — it holds up every time.⸻Bottom line: If you’re training hard and want something that tastes great, builds muscle, and treats your stomach right, Animal Whey Isolate – Frosted Cinnamon Bun is a beast of a choice. Definitely a staple in my stack.

The Only Whey Protein I’ll Purchase
I’ve only tried 2 or 3 brands of whey protein over the years, and after trying a few, I’ve decided to stick with Animal Whey Isolate Powder mixes. The ingredients seem good, and the flavors are great! “Whey Isolate” is the way to go, and the added ingredients to aid digestion really help. I do not experience any gas, or other digestive issues, like other whey products that have me running for the bathroom. I’ve been using Animal Whey for the last 5 or 6 years now. I’ve only tried a few of the flavors though. For a while I was ordering Frosted Cinnamon Bun, which is an excellent flavor choice, if you are into creamy flavors. Then I switched it up to Brownie Batter for years, it’s an amazing flavor, with little bits of what look like chocolate chips in there, but I’m not sure XD. With my last order, I decided to go with Cookies & Cream, because it was a bit cheaper than the brownie batter. I just received the package now, and mixed some up for a taste test. It reminds me a bit of the Frosted Cinnamon Bun flavor, but better in some way. I can’t place my finger on it. It’s got a very creamy flavor to it, and reminds me of “Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Creme(Cream)” candy bars. That being said, they’ve nailed the flavor profile again. If you like cookies and cream flavor, you will enjoy this one.Moving forward I’ll test out a few more flavors, to add some variety :). From the reviews I’ve read, and the few I’ve tried, I think any flavor will be good as long as it’s not something you normally distaste. Some folks hate bananas, for those who do, do not order banana flavor and expect a good time XDI normally start my day off by sipping one protein shake after my morning supplements, while I get started working on business projects, checking emails, writing an article, etc. Shortly after that I get out for a hike in nature, or some other exercise if the weather is nasty, then return to work afterwards. I definitely notice the protein shakes hitting me, even as I drink them. Although I am very sensitive to chemical changes in my body, and the resulting change in consciousness. Your results may vary.I definitely notice a difference on the days I miss my morning shake though. It’s not a tremendous difference. Though, I do feel a bit off, a bit cranky, and not as much energy/motivation. Depending on how much protein I have gotten in a day, I may have another shake an hour or so before bedtime. I find I even sleep better after a shake, even though it seems like it would be counter intuitive. I’ve read articles for and against having protein at night. It all depends on where your body is at, and your calorie intake that day. Personally, I’d rather reach for a tasty protein shake, for some night time desert, over some other food that would be worse off eating before bed. My sweet tooth activates some nights…They definitely get 5 stars from me. I don’t write reviews often, but felt compelled after trying a new flavor. I’ve never had any issues, besides the scoop being buried, which happens with any powdered supplement. I just hang onto the scoop from the previous container, until I get down to the one that is in there. If you are looking for a solid protein product, I suggest giving them a try 🙂
